You do not have to wait for thanksgiving , for incorporate some juicy green beans ! This goes on! Constantly! Even every single day of the year. . . unless you feel like it 😉
500 g frozen or blanched green beans
400 g Silk Tofu
3 Tbls nutritional yeast
1 cup vegetable broth
10 soaked and rinsed Cashew nuts
2 Tbls arrowroot powder
Onion topping :
2 French onions , thin sliced
4 Tbsp whole grain bread crumbs
(1 Tbsp toasted coconut shredds )
Preheat your oven to 200•C / 390•F
Layer the beans in your casserole dish.
All ingredients for the sauce – for fine and smooth result process in a blender – but you can combine it with a whisk as well.
pour over the beans with the sauce until all are covered.
In a large bowl combine the onions with the bread crumbs , pepper and some shredded coconuts and distribute it on the sauced green beans.
Bake the beans for 30 min respectively the onions are golden brown and crispy.
Serve this dish with cooked potatoes or any other carbs you like – yuuuuuumm!!!
